After the football certificates and medals were given out to students who had done particularly well  or had completed their training at Sir Richard, there was some cheerleading for them as a special treat!

Well done to all of the students from week two, we were very sorry to see you go and we hope that you will come back to England soon!

And then the staff had a go at a tango-inspired contemporary piece...!

Apologies for the late update- over the past two weeks Sir Richard has had loads of fun with all of the students and staff getting involved!

Take a look at the pictures from the Talent Show:

The dancers did an energetic Musical Theatre dance to open the show.

They did a beautiful contemporary performance after a rehearsal in a professional dance studio!

On Sunday we had a nice change of pace and visited the Queen of England at her home- Windsor Castle!

The flag you can see in the sky means that the Queen was in the castle while we were!

We visited some lovely state rooms and had a yummy picnic!

The winning team from the Football World Cup earlier that day:

We also gave out certificates to students for different things. Teachers chose students who had tried really hard/ shown great ability, been very considerate to others etc...

Here are some of the students:

One student gave a presentation in Japanese, which she has just started learning:

We even had some fantastic Belly Dancing:

We also heard some lovely singing and piano playing from several of the Mixed Activity students.

Even the staff joined in!
Here are some of the other dancers performing their Street routine:

On Saturday, we staged a Football World Cup complete with Cheerleaders.

In the evening we had our very first Talent Show of the summer! All of the participants were excited and performed brilliantly to a very enthusiastic and supportive audience!

Here are some of the dancers performing a routine based on the show they saw at the West End on Wednesday:

The girls made their own masks and t-shirts in activities during the week and they looked fantastic onstage!

After shopping in Covent Garden, the students on the football course went to Wembley Stadium and those on the Mixed Activity and Dance courses went to the West End to watch The Lion King!

During the coach journey, there was lots of singing! Everyone had a really good time!

We took a break from our English lessons last wednesday and went sightseeing in London.

The London Eye!

Changing of the Guard!

Sunshine and Buckingham Palace!

Hello from England!

At Studio Cambridge Sir Richard we are into our second week of lessons, trips and activities!
